This is how you know you're playing in a gay kickball league.... where all the players are hot... a hot mess.

So you decided to join a gay kickball league good for you!! trying to explain it to your friends takes a lot of arguing

The sign up process is a cross between mean girls and a beauty contest, because nobody wants to be on the ugly team.

And god forbid you have to be on a "free agents" list where you're basically just waiting for some team to take pity on you and add you to their handpicked roster.

but you found one of your friends on another team and they got the captain to add you, and it's not the ugly team! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

So you show up to the first meet and greet and you check out the other guys on your team.

And they tell you all about your "practices" and in your mind you're imagining something really strenuous and hardcore because all the guys workout like 8 days a week.... hey, you don't want to be on the ugly team.

But then you get to practice and you practice kicking, and it turns out that chiseled abs actually don't equal athletic ability

And practicing fielding isn't the way you imagined it either.

But you're on a team with a bunch of hot guys so you're excited to play! And game day arrives and as the gays know, it's all about the entrance....

And since you know the other team probably has similar athletic ability, it's all about getting in their heads and making them think that the actual solid food they ate before the game is making their XS tshirt stretch just a little in the stomach region.

And some games end in victory

And some end in not so much victory...

But you know the real reason you joined a gay kickball league, so win or lose you make your way to the post game bar

Where you try to make friends with guys from the other team

And you even succeed sometimes, after all, you're a goodwill ambassador for your team

But your primary goal is hanging out with your team

Because after all the motto for Gay Kickball, is Beauty, Beverages, and Balls.... in that order.
