43 Practical Products Under $20 You'll Regret Not Having Bought Sooner

Like a super popular garbage disposal cleaner, a digital luggage scale, and a batter dispenser for mess-free pancakes.

    1. A dishwasher magnet you can toggle to say whether the contents inside are clean or dirty — a seemingly small gesture with potentially major peace-keeping results. If you've ever experienced the horror of your SO putting dirty dishes into a dishwasher filled with clean ones, you need this in your cart, stat.

    2. A beauty spatula for getting every. last. drop. out of that pricey foundation you splurged on. Plus, it doubles as an applicator if you'd rather not contaminate your product by sticking your fingers in it.

Promising review: "I bought this a while ago because I felt like there was often too much product I couldn’t reach using the built in applicator. Each bottle is 1 ounce, and I had five “empties” to test this spatula on. I got so much product out of these old bottles that I had to stop before finishing every bottle. My two ounce container is practically over flowing! Thanks to this little spatula, I now have two full bottles worth of foundation potted to use. The spatula is pointed and I think for these bottles a square shaped spatula would have been more efficient, but nevertheless the deed is done! So impressed! (And, considering the cost of each bottle, I saved about $70 worth of foundation that I love and is no longer being sold!)" —Krystal

    3. A Shark Tank-endorsed Saucemoto dip clip, because when it comes to dunking and driving, safety first. You can also squeeze sauce packets into the included trays.

Promising review: "How did I go so long without one of these??? The Saucemoto was my first 'TikTok Made Me Buy It' purchase and I have no regrets. It clips easily to my car's vent and the sauce cups clip in easily so I can dip and drive. No more trying not to dump the sauce by accident while steering with the same hand that's holding the dip cup. It even comes with a dip cup for those places that do the pouches for their sauces rather than the cups. (I'm looking at you, Arby's.) Ya know, you end up squeezing the sauce onto the wrapper that's balanced on your lap and you end up getting some sauce on your steering wheel. OR you try the whole 'wrapper and sauce on the passenger seat and try to dip while watching the road,' which usually doesn't turn out so great." —Pleasure Pamela

Promising review: "I’m not sure about battery life because it’s rechargeable. My daughter has one, it’s been over a year and she’s never charged hers. I will NEVER go back to the traditional, long flame lighters. This thing is AMAZING! It’s worth the money. I burn candles every day. This will be an awesome gift for any candle loving person. Very easy to use." —JMR

    6. A batter dispenser that'll take the mess out of preparing your weekend brunch. Promising review: "I got this yesterday, and my son asked me this morning if I would make him pancakes! I was happy to oblige so I could try my new kitchen gadget, and it did not disappoint! I LOVE it! I made the batter right in the container, and it has measurements on it, so I didn't even have to get out my measuring cups. The batter came out perfectly and easily, and when I stopped the flow, it immediate stopped! There was not one dribble of batter anywhere, and the pancakes turned out perfect! I cannot wait to make cupcakes with this! That was the main reason I bought it, because I always dribble cake batter everywhere when I try to make cupcakes, and it's a mess. I love cupcakes, but not the mess. Now I will be able to easily make them! I will most likely buy this as gifts for my family and friends as well. My advice, get it!" —Nikki

After seeing countless videos on cleaning TikTok that raved about The Pink Stuff, I knew I had to try it out on my stained, grime-coated sheet tray. I mean, if it could make a dent in that, I'd probably believe in magic. Well, I started scrubbing one corner as a test, and lo and behold, the difference was nothing short of DRAMATIC (check out the photos for proof!). And I didn't even have to scrub very hard, though as someone with ~minimal~ upper body strength, I doubt any force I could physically apply would even constitute as heavy scrubbing. At any rate, it worked so well that I tried it on a pair of dirty tennis shoes and a blue stain that had been singed onto my toaster oven for months, and, yup, it worked. I will say, if you want your sheet trays to look brand spankin' new, you might need one of those cleaning scraper tools to get every last bit off, but as far as general stain removal goes, consider me a FAN.

Have tried numerous products over the years with no avail. Received Bar Keepers Friend today and after dinner decided to give it a whirl. This product was easy to use and all the rust stains are gone. My wife came in and said, "Where are the orange spots, I never thought those would go away." Finally, someone has invented the perfect jar opener that is simple and requires no space in your kitchen drawers or counters. There was one person who suggested placing the opener with the sharp end of the 'V' closest to you and with it placed in the front, in the right corner under your cabinet. Promising review: "I was skeptical about these when they arrived because I've never used anything like it before. I did NOT want something to cover up odors or make my feet smell like a robust dryer-sheet. I just wanted the odor gone. We've been having temperatures here over 100 degrees lately and although I wear socks with my Vans, they were getting a bit "pungent." I slid one of these into each sneaker and hoped for the best. Less than 12 hours later, the odor was gone... GONE! When a product works like it says it should = happy customer. I've only used them for about a week now, so I haven't had to recharge them yet, but I'm really happy I bought these." —C. Welte

Promising review: "Soon as I saw this, I knew I had to get it. How smart that someone finally came up with something that will hold your polish? Not everyone can afford to, or want to go out and get mani pedis right now. Some of us want to stay home, stay away from the germs and do these things ourselves. Sure, we had a designated basket where the remotes should go, but they'd be under the couch, under a blanket, in the next room, etc. Now, all I do is click a button on the base remote and the fob chimes away and we have fun finding the cussed little devices. I am Italian, so as you can imagine I have eaten (and made myself) a LOT of pasta. This product is a game changer. It was extremely easy to use, cooked quickly, and it came out PERFECTLY. Not over cooked, a little al dente, but not firm. Perfection. Now I have no excuse not to cook pasta for myself (and my husband) practically every day. BUY THIS. Promising review: "Wow, you wonder if things like this really work and well, I can absolutely confirm it does! First, I was impressed that the package came with two of the devices because I was only expecting one. So there was one for the fitted sheet, and [one for] the flat sheet. Finally, I tried it out, and my sheets not only did NOT wad up, they came out of the dryer feeling fresher, feeling more dry, and unwrinkled! I will be buying a set of these for each of my immediate family members and close friends! What a great gift!" —katy

Promising review: "This durable little dude has scrubbed his way into my home’s heart. Firm in cold water, soft in warm, he handled scrubbing all my counters, my stove, dishes, and then the bathrooms last — before I threw him in the extra hot dishwasher where he emerged like new. I would have gone through three Magic Erasers in that time — but now I can save those for chores more geared to them. Bravo, Scrub Daddy. You’ve earned your crown." —kjamador

Promising review: "LOVE this brush! It’s the perfect size for me and the handle just fits so comfortable in my hand. The bristles have a medium to firm flexibility and glides easily through my 4b fine, natural curly strands. None of the bristles have bent for me. I’m gentle when I brush my hair though and always start at the ends and detangle my way up." —netters

Another promising review: "My daughter has 3b curls, and it used to take me 35 minutes (at minimum) to brush her hair out after a wash/fix it in the mornings. I bought this to help tame the tangles, and I am shocked at how well it works. No more harsh pulling with a disgruntled preschooler! It took less than 10 minutes to comb through her hair with little-to-no effort. I’m SO happy with this brush!!" —PipsPlusOne

Promising review: "My roommates laughed when I showed them the condoms but I was the one laughing when we couldn’t find the top of one of our bottles and used the condoms. It did not leak at all in our fridge. I was shaking it and turning it upside down and it was able to keep all the wine in. It also didn’t give the wine a funny flavor. It worked perfectly. Once I run out of them, I’m definitely getting more." —Angelisa Nivar

Promising review: "These sheet straps are the best purchase I have ever made. I bought a new bed and had to put a thick mattress protector on it for the warranty to remain active, so my sheets fit very snugly. I toss and turn a lot and my dog moves around a lot, so the sheets were always coming off the corner. I bought these, and it only took a couple of minutes to put on. It’s been a week and my sheets have stayed in place. This was the perfect simple and cheap solution for a major annoyance." —Shariece
