It give you a chance to meet friends and pursue a career that you always wanted. Everything From President to Superstar to Even A World Class Criminal! 2. Learning Skills

The Sims have adapted the idea of "Practice Makes Perfect" because to master any skill you must practice for hours on the fastest time speed. With this hard work you're less likely to burn down your kitchen or get electrocuted while you fix your stereo. Plus these skills will give you a boost in your careers. This is the same in real life. We need these skills to survive people! What happens if there's a repairman strike!

3. Relationships

So you met a nice attractive sim outside your house and you want to romance him/her. Well you can't just run up to them and try to WooHoo because you'll get slapped. If you want that smooch you have to chat, flirt, and get to know them. This is exactly true in the real world. Real relationships take work. In order to love someone you have to get to know them. After a few hours or days, maybe you'll get that WooHoo. You go on with your naughty self!

4. Children

So you've moved on from WooHoo to Try For A Baby. Well good luck with your wonderful new offspring. Parenting in The Sims is exactly like real life. You have to teach to the child basic skills: talking, walking, and how to use the potty. If you don't teach them they'll have a hard time growing up. Kids take a lot of work and will completely change your life, so if you don't think you're ready, maybe stick to WooHooing.

5. Acceptance

In The Sims anyone can get married no matter what their sexual orientation is. In fact, no one even bats an eye or thinks it's wrong. Hey now you can even make your Sim a Vampire or Alien! What a wonderful diverse world to live in! This is a great way to teach kids on how you should accept all people. You know the saying, "happy world happy life"! I'm pretty sure that's a thing.

6. Friendship

Sims, just like people, are social beings. Everyone craves some sort of social interaction. In fact, being around a friend will always brighten up your day. You can invite them to go to town or even just have a chill session in your mansion. If you're to busy to hang you can just ring them up for a chat. Just don't neglect your friend because you might start singing the Veronica Mars theme song.

7. Cleaniness

In The Sims you'll instantly get in a bad mood if you step into a room and it's a complete mess. Now you might think that's a little bit of an overreaction but it's true! No one like to live in filth...well unless you're a hoarder. No judgment. Still love you.

8. Hygiene

This should be a simple thing for us humans to learn but The Sims drives it home by using our worst fears. If you smell, they'll have a green fog follow you and if you don't go to the bathroom you'll piss yourself in public. These are huge fears that The Sims have put in me and maybe that's why I'm constantly going to the bathroom or going through an abnormal amount of deodorant. Yes I know...TMI. My b!

9. Exercising

All Sims and Human Beings can agree that exercising is the worst but sadly it's needed for us to stay healthy. What's horrible is that The Sims decided to get real about it and have our Sim gain weight! The audacity! Where's it safe for a person to just eat chips for every meal and not face the consequences?! So yes if our Sims have to exercise so do we. I just need to find a treadmill that holds my computer so me and my Sim can be gym buddies.

10. Making Your Dreams A Reality

Your Sims never settle. In fact, they are constantly doing crazy things that you can only wish you can do. In all actuality you can do those things! You want to be an actor? Go for it! You want to put a hot tub inside the house? You do you! By watching our Sims live the life we want we gain confidence to achieve those dreams.
