Ellen Superfan Pays Tribute In Macklemore Cover

At the start of The Ellen DeGeneres Show's 11th season, Ellen announced her resident DJ, Tony Okungbowa, was going to be the DJ for only part of the season. The show would bring in celebrities to guest DJ and also Ellen fans, so long as those fans loved Ellen and had some musical talent. Longtime fan of the show, Bri Brenneman, saw this as her chance to not only be able to meet Ellen, but to be able to pay special tribute to her. Brenneman rewrote the lyrics to Macklemore's "Thrift Shop" and she and her friend, Ben Daron, collaborated on a music video. Brenneman says "I have like zero musical talent so I thought I'd rap and that would be super easy. Wrong. Rapping is hard! And I have zero pitch. I don't even know what a pitch is...Props to Macklemore...but here's the thing, I love Ellen so much, so I will embarrass myself for the world to see for her. I picture us, like, being besties and like, me, Ellen, and Portia will all go feed her cow, Madonna, and like hike and do yoga together. Everyday. That's the dream. " See the zany tribute below.
