Nerf's Original Super Soakers Are Coming Back, And We Can Officially Start Reliving Our '90s Childhoods

It's going to be a total #MillennialSummer!

It's safe to say that 2020 has started off as a great year for '90s kids. First, General Mills announced that Dunkaroos will be making their triumphant return this summer.

And now, another '90s kids classic is set to return this year: the Nerf Super Soaker!!!

Honestly, there was nothing better on a hot summer day than going out and having a full-on water fight with your Super Soaker.

FTR, Super Soakers were originally made by Larami and then went on to be produced by Hasbro.

To be fair, Super Soakers didn't go away, but their designs have changed over the decades and don't really resemble the ones we grew up with.

Yeah, I feel like I should be shooting down ghosts with that, not my friends with water.

Well, the new ones — which, sadly, do not sport the same color scheme of the original — definitely resemble the design of the original Super Soaker.

The Super Soaker will be back on store shelves (but exclusively at Target) in spring of this year. So, '90s kids, you can spend your entire summer playing with Super Soakers, while snacking on Dunkaroos.
