Madonna Isn't A Big Fan Of Her Old Hit Songs, And Honestly, I Am Not Into That Groove

Maybe she should rename her greatest hits album The Immaculately Loathed Collection?!

I think we can all agree that Madonna is a LEGEND who has one of the greatest and most recognizable music catalogs of all time!

She's had incredible hits in the '80s, '90s, '00s, and through today.

In anticipation of the release of her upcoming 14th studio album, Madame X, Madonna sat down with the New York Times to talk about everything from aging to what it was like having her last album, Rebel Heart, leak.

But, of all the things Madonna talked about, she revealed one big thing: She is over her old music!

When asked by the Times how she felt about her old hits, Madonna replied:

If I’m in a car or I go into a restaurant, I’m out somewhere, and one of my songs starts playing, I just go, "Ugh." Probably because I’ve had to hear it five billion times already, and I want to escape that.

"Ugh"?.... "Ugh"? Like... how?! Those songs are classics that literally defined the lives of Gen Xers, Xennials, and Millennials.

Of course, this shouldn't come as a surprise to hardcore Madonna fans (because) she has always been about looking forward and not back. Also, 35+ years of singing some of the same songs would probably make anyone dislike their songs (no matter how good they are).

With that being said, I really do hope she performs some of those older classics on her next tour! 'Cause who doesn't love singing along to "Material Girl"?!
