You could also be the life of the party and spice up some classic holiday drinks for the adults to sip on and relax (think mulled wine, for example). If you're lazy, you also have the option of just mixing a bunch of different juices together, throwing in some orange slices or sherbet, and calling it punch – everyone will love it!

Drinks

If anyone can be trusted to create the Christmas dinner centerpiece, it's you. Use your skills in detail, patience, and care to make a delectable dish for everyone in the family to look forward to. Turkey, ham, and roast beef are some classic choices. If you or someone you love is vegan or vegetarian, you could put your heart into making some homey vegan recipes, like mushroom pot pie, tofurkey, or a nut roast.

MEAT (or a delicious vegan substitute)

Let's be real, although the meat may get all the attention, the bread is the real centerpiece of Christmas dinner. People may think that this is the "easy" option to make for dinner. Those people are WRONG, and you know it, which is why I've chosen you to RISE to the task (get it??? I'm so funny). You could make a sweet cinnamon bread, a tangy sourdough, or some classic bread rolls. If you want to up your game, bring a delicious flavored butter to pair.

Homemade bread

Who says veggies can't be just as delicious as the other dishes at Christmas dinner? You know your way around the kitchen, and so I've placed my trust in you to season vegetables in a way that even the kids will love. Whether it's an easy-to-make salad, comforting mashed potatoes, or perfectly seasoned roasted asparagus, you have a lot of unique options that are sure to please at your holiday gathering.
