Tricycle
A 58 year old man from Oregon was arrested for drunk driving on a public road. He rode through a stop sign and was riding on the wrong side of the road before he was pulled over and failed a field sobriety test
Horse
There are multiple stories of people getting pulled over for riding their horse while they were intoxicated. In 2009, a woman from Alabama was arrested for being intoxicated while riding her horse. She also used her horse to “ram a police car” while she was drunk. Uh oh!
Golf Cart
Who doesn’t love to play a few holes of golf and drink a couple of beers? Well, Brian Scott of Kentucky was driving his golf cart when he failed a field sobriety test. He was later arrested and taken to jail. I think that’s a two stroke penalty.
A Dolphin
In one of the most bizarre drunk driving cases we’ve heard of, it involves two drunk men and…. a bottlenose dolphin. After visiting a pub in England these two decided to hitch a ride on a bottlenose dolphin named ‘Dave the Dolphin.’ The pair was arrested and taken to jail.
A Wheelchair
A man in Australia was found passed out on the side of the road in 2008 in his wheelchair. It was 10 A.M. and he blew a .301 on a breathalyzer. He was later arrested and taken jail.
A Lawn Mower
Tennessee seems to be the motherland of driving your lawnmower while intoxicated. Jimmy Graham Jr. (not football player) was spotted by officers while he was driving his lawnmower and swerving. He failed a field sobriety test and was found with an unopened beer in his pocket. He too was taken to jail.
Zamboni
This Darwin Award winner was 22 year old Adam Patterson from Portland, Maine. He ended up crashing the Zamboni at the Portland civic center into a wall near a storage area. Before he crashed the Zamboni? He tried to operate the two forklifts there.
Lay-Z-Boy
Who needs to get up and go get a beer? Not a 62 year old man in Minnesota. He customized his Lay-Z-Boy with a lawn mower engine, speakers, a cupholder, and a magazine rack. After driving it down to the bar and having a few too many beers, he left and crashed it into a parked car.
A Cooler
The ‘Cruzin Cooler’ came onto the scene in 2006 and people put have put it to good use. The motorized cooler scooter can cruise around at about 15 mph. It even has a trailer that can be attached to it for extra beers to be added. This way you can drive to the store, pick up the beer, drive back, and it will be cool by the time you get home. Leslie Marr from Whitehall, NY was charged with felony DUI charges for his drunk driving on his ‘Cruzin Cooler’.
