    This '80s Video Of Australian Cops Skipping Puts Police Academy To Shame

    The world was a much simpler place back then.

    In 1982 the Victorian Police Cadets appeared on The Don Lane Show.

    They were on the show to demonstrate their intense skipping ability.

    They started off at the beginner level.

    And then intermediate.

    Look at that form.

    Some of the skills shown were...questionable.

    But then they got serious.

    Bringin' out the ol' 5-meter.

    Unleashing 'The Jackhammer.'

    'The Salmon.'

    And the 'I-Don't-Know-What-I'm-Doing."

    But the real phenomenon was this guy:

    Performing the age-old "Flopper."

    "Bouncer."

    And the "I-Stuffed-Up-On-National-TV."
