These Students Dressed Up As Nazis, The KKK, And In Blackface For A "Politically Incorrect" Party And People Are Pissed

    Do not do this.

An Australian university is investigating five students who were photographed dressed as Ku Klux Klan members and in blackface as part of a "politically incorrect" themed party on Thursday night.

One of the photos that went viral on Friday shows four men dressed in Ku Klux Klan outfits, while another man, painted black head to toe and holding a bowl of "cotton", crouches in front of them. "Cotton prices are unreal though so it's a great time to be pickin'" reads the caption.

Another photo which was uploaded to Instagram before being deleted showed students dressed in prisoner uniforms with the Star of David attached while another man dressed as Hitler stood behind them.

Facing a barrage of negative reviews on Facebook, the Black Swan Hotel initially distanced itself from the incident with a statement, before later deleting it. Management claimed staff were unaware of the event "out the back of the pub" and that it was immediately dealt with.

Charles Sturt University responded to the outrage on Friday afternoon, saying on its Facebook that it was aware of the incident and would be investigating.

As of Friday afternoon, many of the men featured in the "politically incorrect" photos have deleted their social media accounts.
