It's a simple story about a hockey player and the no nonsense girl he falls for. It's steamy. It's romantic. It's a book you can easily devour in one sitting.

This is the only YA book on the list. It mostly went under the radar but it was a lovely story about a girl and her group of guy friends, her "barmy" (aka "boy army"). It takes place during that pivotal moment between childhood and growing up when love blossoms and people have to learn to move on. A must read!
