    A few of our fave vegan spots in New York, including options for more of a comfort food choice to healthier tofu salads and wraps.

    1. Blossom du Jour

    100% vegan, Blossom du Jour has 4 locations around NYC. They serve a variety of wraps, salads, and have a juice cleanse option.

    2. Franchia Vegan Cafe

    This Korean Vegan spot is has a beautiful, relaxed setting. They have gluten free options, as well as vegan sushi and vegan tapas. They also have a variety of different teas, including iced plum tea and iced pomegranate tea.

    3. Angelica Kitchen

    This vegan restaurant in the East Village has been around since 1976. It has a chill atmosphere, with some communal tables and the menu changes regularly.

    4. Sacred Chow

    Great vegan spot in Greenwich Village. They provide organic, vegan, Kosher, and ethically produced foods. They have gluten free desserts, brunch, proteins, and other gluten free food available too.

    5. Taim

    Known for its falafel and smoothies, this is a great go-to spot when you're on the go. They also have all sorts of preserves for sale. Its vegetarian and gluten free.

    6. Candle Cafe

    A great spot for lunch, Candle Cafe is all vegan with locally sourced products. The cajun items on the menu are delicious.

    7. Wild Ginger

    This pan-Asian Williamsburg vegan cafe is popular with both vegan and meat lovers. The food is delicious, but the service can be a little unpredictable.

    8. Champs Family Bakery

    This is a 100% vegan diner and bakery. They serve comfort style food as well as some healthy quinoa bowl options. The breakfast is a fave with tofu benedict options, as well as a breakfast burrito.

    9. Bunna Cafe

    In the heart of Bushwick, this is an Ethiopian cafe. They sometimes have live music. The menu has different combo platters for sharing, and they regularly have coffee ceremony events.

    10. MOB

    This is a fantastic vegan space in Brooklyn, with a large communal area, outdoor patio and amazing food! Know for their MOBs, which are secret house baked dough made with locally grown and milled organic flour shaped like the arches of the Brooklyn Bridge and topped with fruits, vegetables and seasoning. Yum.

    11. Peacefood Cafe

    A vegan kitchen and bakery near Union Square, they also have a location on the Upper West Side. 2 vegans founded the restaurant and they serve dishes like, tempeh avocado and soy buggets. Yum!

    12. Terri

    Terri is an all vegetarian, quick service restaurant. They offer a wide range of menu items from the familiar such as a "meatball" sub and a "bacon" "chicken" cheddar ranch sandwich to a hummus & avocado wrap and sugar free smoothies with kale and açaí.

    13. Hangkawi

    Upscale Korean vegan food. The experience is cool, and you have to take your shoes off when you first walk in. Even meat eaters love this spot :)
