1. Just look at that hair.

He's like a modern day Don Draper or Danny Zuko.

2. His songs encompass both hip hop and electronic genres, similar to artists like Kid Cudi or Kanye West.

Let's Get Lost, featuring Devon Baldwin, is a great example.

3. Again, look at that FACE.

4. He hails from Oakland, CA, home to MC Hammer and Keyshia Cole.

He's been making music for years and releasing his own material independently and online, but just signed with RCA this past year.

5. He's not afraid to play the bad boyfriend in his videos, like in "Marilyn" when he cheats on his girlfriend and she catches him in the act.

That wink at 0:37 though. *heart flutters and runs away giggling*

6. He's considerate of his fans (and our budgets!)

In an interview with Earmilk, he talked about distributing his music for free because he thinks it "reaches more people that way." He continued, saying "our generation has become completely accustomed to acquiring our music for free, so you've gotta focus on stuff you can't download, like live shows and merch."

7. He gives zero fucks about drama with other rappers.

Hoodie Allen called out G-Eazy, Mike Stud, and Riff Raff on his song "Nolan Ryan." While the latter two both shot back on Twitter, good old Gerald barely acknowledged it. Even on his AMA a few months ago, he brushed it off.

8. One of his first viral songs, "Runaround Sue," has a doo-wop feel to it and is a remix of the original 1961 version.

Such a fan of the classics.

The James Dean of hip hop for sure. *runs away blushing to make a Hey Arnold type of shrine dedicated to G-Eazy*

11. His most recent album, These Things Happen, debuted at number one on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart.

It sold 46,000 copies in the first week, which was his most successful to date.

12. His video for "I Mean It" is a hilarious change of pace from his usually artistic videos.

If I ever said "G-EAZY CAN WE GO GET TACOS AND BE BEST FRIENDS," just know...I mean it. (seriously, can we have a Taco Bell date please?)

13. Ok sorry, just one more beautiful close up of that perfect jawline and hair and eyes and UGHHHHH.
