Why You Shouldn't Date A Cowboy

Yeah, I understand that most cowboys are hot af, but every cowboy has the same set of flaws.

Flaw 1.

Cowboys have no money, unless their parents are still providing for them or they are the next Lane Frost but otherwise they have no money.

Cowboys have no money for these main reasons:

-Rodeo Nominations are pricey

-Rodeo gear is pricey

-If a cowboy has a horse or more than one horse they most likely spend their money on their lifestock

-Cowboys always get injured, I mean ALWAYS if they don't then they musn't be riding properly or something because every cowboy I know gets injured every few weeks or every few months.

Flaw 2.

Injury

Refering back to something I mentioned in the first flaw, cowboys will be getting injured quite a lot. This can affect you because your cowboy may be a pretty boy but he moves like a robot because of his fake knee and recently broken arm.

In a long term relationship you don't want to deal with a young person who has the joints of a 64 year old man.

One day when you and your cowboy are growing old together his body will give out and you will be left with a useless man who got hurt too much when he was younger.

Flaw 3. What's the difference between a bull rider and a pizza?

A pizza can feed a family of four.

If he doesn't have a back up plan (for when he can no longer ride bulls and broncs) both you and your cowboy are going to be broke... Unless you have a job, but is your job really going to play the rent, mortgage or/and the bills? If your cowboy doesn't have his shit sorted out then then you need to either leave him or help him find a career.

The consequences of not having your shit sorted out can lead to:

-Living in a caravan

-Live with your or his parents

-Debt

Do you really want to deal with that shit?

Flaw 4.

If you want a cowboy you will need:

-Get used to watching your boyfriend getting his head stomped on by rough stock

-Get used to no having any money

-You will probably live in a caravan or living with your parents.

Last thing...

Support him, he may have the bones of a 60 year old, no money in his bank account or anything else I mentioned, but if you really love him you won't whine about how he is always putting his life in danger or how you don't want to live in a caravan anymore.

He knows that he is putting his life in danger every time he gets on that bull or bronc.

He knows he is going to have to find a job.

He knows you deserve a better lifestyle, but don't drag him away from something he loves.

He deserves happiness as much as you do. If getting on an animal that can kill him makes him happy then let him do it.
