So you heard about Bike & Build.

And you were like...

So you apply

and are accepted!

You tell people what youre doing this summer and theyre like...

You train. You fundraise. You complete your sweat equity.

You show up to orientation

and youre a bit nervous,

but your leaders tell you everything you need to know.

And you ready. Oh you ready.

The next weeks are full of bike rides,

build days,

sleeping and eating,

friends,

(shaving?),

more eating,

and all things shining, shimmering, splendid.

You sweatily roll into eateries and coffee shops 30 deep and the owners are like...

Suddenly, youre about to hit the Pacific

and as you sprint into the water

you realize you biked here from the Atlantic.

And all the other beach goers are like...

But wait, does this mean B&B is over?

In a way, yes

but you go back to the real world

and feel like you can do anything.

You tell all your friends about your summer

and know you wont ever be the same.
