    New York City condos have been going for record prices lately. The news of the real estate slump seems not to have reached the millionaires and billionaires dropping more than $50 million on an apartment.

    In December of 2011 a New York City condo sold for $88 million dollars. It now stands as the most expensive condo ever sold in New York City. That is a whopping sum to pay for a prestigious address and a nice view.
