    How To Have An Awesome Long Distance Valentine In 5 Steps

    It's not easy, we know. But why don't you make the best out of what you have? This is what we did, it's your turn now!

    Let's be honest. You can't. It sucks.

    Valentine's day is one of the worst days in a LD couple. Unlike other love birds, this day reminds them of how far they are and how lonely they can feel. And I'm not gonna lie to you and say that this day will be awesome if you handle it well, because nothing can beat spending this day -more than any other day- in the arms of your other half.

    But you can definitely make it less depressing and save yourself a bad day that will reflect negatively on your relationship and probably create bad memories. And bad memories are very harmful, they'll creep back in every fight and make the distance seem much worse, but we'll talk about that another time.

    Use this day to trust how strong your relationship is, use it to be thankful for having someone to love and someone who loves you. As cheesy as it may sound, that's a privilege.

    So here are a few steps to help:

    1- Talk about it!

    You hate distance. You hate Valentine's Day. You're feeling down. Well guess what? You're not alone, your partner is feeling the same. So talk about it, express your feelings. Don't let the negativity eat you up. Without knowing it, you'll be angry at your partner, you'll be blaming him or her for the distance. And it will end up with a fight. (Ask us about it!)

    2- It's a date!

    Empty your schedule on Valentine's day. You're only appointment, meeting, party, dinner… is with your loved one.
