This was on my local police departments facebook police beat they post each week.
"On May 13, Patrol Officers were called by a citizen who said they were concerned for their former partner after a recent breakup. Officers made contact with the second party and determined they were okay and did not know the caller had the intention of ending the relationship. Officers made sure the second party was okay after learning this information before leaving".
