13 Foods We Need To Bring Back To Grocery Stores Everywhere

I cry a little inside every time a food I love is taken away from me. Stripped off of grocery store shelves everywhere, never to be enjoyed again. Here are some foods my heart is still breaking over (in no particular order).

1. Philadelphia Snack Bars

Via media.shopwell.com

These snack (more like dessert) bars made it easy to have cheesecake on hand ALL.THE.TIME.

Why would the world want to deprive us of cheesecake-to-go?! These must come back!

2. Breyer's Banana Fudge Chunk Ice Cream

Via foodgoat.com

It's hard to find authentic banana-flavored ice cream (I dare you to try), and this flavor was packed with pieces of dark, creamy chocolate. Mmmm.

8. Uh-Oh! Oreos

There are so many flavors of Oreos that I get confused as to which ones have disappeared over the years.

But not these. I mourned the loss of these babies.

Sometimes you need to let the vanilla cookies of the world have the spotlight.

10. Peanut Butter Take 5

I feel like these came and went faster than Willa Ford (Google her, you'll thank me). For peanut butter fanatics like myself, these were The Holy Grail of candy bars.

Pretzels, caramel, peanuts, and peanut butter, COVERED in a peanut butter candy coating (Are you drooling yet?). I CAN'T EVEN.

11. Fruitomic Punch Fruit Gushers

Via ecx.images-amazon.com

Gushers still exist. Thank God. However for some reason the people over at Betty Crocker (it's still weird to me they make fruity snacks) decided to get rid of the best flavor!

I don't get the name, but it worked. It worked so well.

12. Philadelphia Cracker Spreads

Via foodservicedirect.com

More often than not, you want some spreadable cheese on your plain ole cracker. And sometimes you want that cheese to be extra creamy, kinda like cream cheese.

Enter: Philadelphia Cracker Spread. Cheesy, creamy, & abundant. I loved putting this stuff on Flipsides Pretzel Crackers.

I guess Kaukauna Spreadable Cheese will have to do (shamless Wisco plug, because the best cheese truly comes from the dairy state).

13. Cinnamon Graham Dunkaroos

I know I'm not the only one that used to use up all the frosting on like two crackers. That stuff was delicious, but so were the cinnamon grahams. All around, dunkaroos were just a nice alternative to Handi-Snacks "Breadsitcks 'n Cheez" (yes, Cheese with a Z).
