If I have to pee, poop, or am gassy then I’ll feel a lot of discomfort where the implants are located. Sometimes it will feel like a finger being pressed hard into my lower abdomen, other times it will feel like I’m being stabbed. It is alleviated once I void myself of whatever is applying pressure to the location of the implants, but sometimes the pain lingers after.
I’ve also experienced discomfort during sex that was not around prior to these being implanted.
Upon implantation, my right tube started to spasm so they were unable to get the coil in all the way. I could see blood on the monitor they showed me from where they kept trying to shove it in deeper. It would not go in further due to the spasms and they just said “Well, it’s in far enough! You SHOULD be okay.”
That side has way more discomfort than the left.
But hey, I haven’t gotten pregnant…yet. (Apparently they can lose effectiveness after 2-5 years)
Crystal, you can still safely get your tubes tied. This article is about the Essure implant, not the tube-tying procedure.
I guess if you’re young something like this could be embarrassing or funny. But as you get older, it’s much less taboo.
What the hell?
He was just a baby! This is depressing. Who did his shooter so much wrong to make him so ruthless?
I hope his shooter suffers for this.
Can you imagine? The shooter is out there right now, most likely with accomplices, telling themselves no to stress this and it’s “just a part of the game”. There is someone out there telling themselves that this was deserved!
