3. Just like everybody else in 2016, Grindr got involved in politics.
4. And the people of Grindr really used the political debates to their advantage.
5. They were seriously funny about it.
6. Sometimes "hello" just wasn't a good enough conversation starter though.

8. Which tbf isn’t half as confusing as this music fan, who seems to be using Grindr to promote an album.
9. In 2016, Pokémon Go was all the rage.
10. But don't panic, Grindr managed to single-handedly kill that craze off.
11. 2016 was the year Nemo went missing again.
12. It was also when Grindr basically became therapy
13. It always made sure to give the best therapeutic advice.
14. Seriously, why would you pay by the hour when you can get therapy for free?
15. In some ways, Grindr didn't change at all in 2016.

16. It's still the same app it's always been.
17. With just as much humour.
18. And just as many faceless profiles willing to creep the living fuck out of you.
