A nurse who tested positive for the coronavirus just opened up to Jimmy Kimmel about what the experience has been like, revealing that she's isolated away from her family for two weeks while she recovers.

Kimball Fairbanks spoke candidly about the subject on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, explaining that she found out that she'd tested positive for COVID-19 earlier this week.

"I've had to be furloughed from work and away from my family for two weeks," Kimball explained, revealing that she has two children, ages 4 and 18 months.

The cardiovascular nurse continued that it was likely she'd been exposed to the virus at work, and that with the current situation, her entire team had been drafted in to help.

Kimball went on to discuss her symptoms, saying that although the experience had been rough, they'd only been mild so far and were "decently manageable".

After discussing her experience with the coronavirus, Jimmy Kimmel stepped in to say that the show wanted to cheer Kimball up, and that's when he introduced a special guest — Jennifer Aniston!

"Hi, honey, it's so good to meet you," Jen said to a clearly shocked Kimball. "I just have to say, God bless you and all of you that are out there, doing what you're doing."

After revealing that she hadn't been able to cook and so had therefore been relying on ordering food to her home, Jimmy further surprised Kimball with a $10,000 gift card for Postmates.

As for Kimball, she told Jennifer and Jimmy that she'll probably be back in work on the 8th, after the two weeks are up. But, more importantly, that's when she's allowed to see her children again.

Wishing you a speedy recovery, Kimball! You can watch the full interview here, and be sure to check out more of BuzzFeed News' coronavirus coverage.
