I bet you will be heading to college soon. Some for the 2nd, 3rd or 4th year or maybe this is your 1st year. So exciting! When I went to college, I didn’t know what to buy for my dorm room since I was the 1st person in my family to attend college in USA so I bought a looott of stuff and by that I mean, I wasted a lot of money. So, my sister is starting college next week and although she’ll be living at home, I thought about making this list of the 10 dorm room essentials; something I wish I had taken a look back in 2009.

Style Your Dorm Room With Kleenex

1. Air freshener- You want your dorm room to always smell good. It reminded me of my clean home.

2. Cozy sweater- This is more for you than for styling your dorm room but, you’ll need it. Take it to class or a movie!

3. Towels- Yes! very important. Get cute ones that go with the style of your dorm room as you’ll most likely keep them there if you have community bathrooms.

4. Cozy Blanket- Again, this will help you with long nights of studying.

5. Vacuum- It’s most likely your dorm room will be carpeted. Trust me, it does get dirty although it probably doesn’t appear to be so.

6. Coffee mug- You’ll need this one. If there’s anything from this list that you take away, make it be this #. It will save you money.

7. Portable hamper- It will make it easier to carry your laundry around. Why not get a cute chevron one?

8. Rug- This is solely for the design of your dorm room. A little color never hurt anyone. Right?

9. Portable bathroom basket- Stuck with community bathrooms? This will save you.

10. Last but not least. When I went to college, I used Kleenex because I was constantly getting allergies. Lucky for you, there’s now a cute, exclusive back to college Kleenex box that comes in a variety of colors. I’d pick the color that goes better with the style of your dorm :)
