These are all basically true, and the advice is good. The only situation that’s new is the escalator thing, having to stay to the right. This has just recently happened in the last 10 years as people get more desperate and afraid as the boot come down. I think it’s stupid, too. You only save a few seconds by walking up or down the escalator, but it causes confusion at the bottom of the escalator, you bump into everyone with your bags and your body, and you make the escalator break down far more frequently. In the end, it probably ends up making everyone lose time.
