Beauty enthusiast. Curly hair evangelist. Professional problem solver. Some of my earliest memories are teaching myself how to braid on my Barbies’ hair and crying after leaving various hair salons with disastrous haircuts. In the decades since, I have been on a quest for the best products and styles for my curly hair. During that journey, I gained confidence from finally learning how to do my own hair, and that has been the foundation for my passion for the beauty industry. I have been a hair model for several salon brands’ education events, written academic papers on the industry, and worked with DevaCurl’s leadership team on business development and special projects. I have 5 years of consulting experience at McKinsey and Deloitte where I have helped businesses solve their toughest problems. I have worked in almost every corporate function with senior executives and frontline workers, and have enjoyed mentoring younger colleagues and business school students. I am originally from the Hudson Valley in New York and I have a mechanical engineering degree and MBA from Harvard. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my boyfriend, Dion, traveling to see friends and family, mentoring, and talking about hair to anyone who will listen.
