Do you ever read those awful advice columns for your relationship and "what it all means"? They're always hit or miss...but mostly miss.

1. What your sleeping position says about your relationship

First of all, it is completely absurd to judge a relationship based on your sleeping positions. Of course, there are nights when things are a little rocky and there is more distance between you and yours, however, I'm all about that comfortable night sleep. I don't need someone who has a higher body temperature than me making me sweaty and sticky because society has created this delusional idea that successful couples cuddle in their sleep.

2. Silence means there is a problem

Certainly, communication is key in any relationship. However, there are days when ya just don't have much to talk about. And you know what? It's okay. If you and your s.o. are living together there will definitely be days that you just need space and some alone time. Be it in the same room as them or an entirely separate space. Don't feel guilty for needing that time.

3. Try to keep the honeymoon phase up for as long as possible

I hate hearing this. A honeymoon is meant to pass. Attempting to make things "alive" only concludes that you're either not ready for a serious relationship or you're not confident enough in yourself. The beautiful part about a relationship is helping each other and watching as you develop and grow into a mature couple. Trust me, there's a whole world out there to help keep things alive- you don't need to push an extension of the honeymoon phase. It will simply defer progress in development as individuals and a couple.
