A book that compiles the stories of women on the many and varied ways they've experienced sexism in their day-to-day lives. It's an eye-opening, amusing, and somewhat nauseating read, but, to be honest, Trump will most likely use it as a guide on how to be more sexist.

2. Dreams From My Father by Barack Obama

You know, I think I know what happened: Trump read some blurb from the book that said Obama had visited Kenya and then took that to mean Obama was not born in America. Maybe if he had read the whole book, he wouldn't have been so confused.

In case Trump didn't know, refugees are not the same as terrorists. This is a book that chronicles the experiences of refugees from all across the world and provides context for how countries and government treat these refugees. While this was published well before the Syrian refugee crisis, it's still incredibly relevant to today's tragedies.

4. The Book of Unknown Americans by Cristina Henríquez

Not all Hispanic immigrants are rapists and criminals, and not all Hispanic immigrants are from Mexico, despite what Trump believes. The only fiction book on this list, Henríquez's novel focuses on the Rivera family, who moved to America to provide a suitable education for their daughter, who had recently suffered a traumatic brain injury. Henríquez intersperses the main narrative with short vignettes from other immigrants living in the same building as the Riveras, which provide insights into their varied backgrounds, heritage, and reasons for immigrating to the US--none of which include raping and stealing.
