Who is Keyser Soze?
20 years ago on the screens released film “The Usual Suspects” which later became a very famous and had received positive reviews from critics. This thriller is the best of all I ever seen. To inflame passions and twisted plot I can only compare it with the “Seven”. Of course, the most important question, which owns the minds of all viewers – who is Keyser Soze ,whether he exists in reality, and whether the five criminals to oppose his will, and stay alive.

To inflame passions and twisted plot I can only compare it with the “Seven”. Of course, the most important question, which owns the minds of all viewers – who is Keyser Soze ,whether he exists in reality, and whether the five criminals to oppose his will, and stay alive.
This is an amazing movie. You would never guess that there will be further and resolved than plot twists. Moreover,when it seems that you have all told, it appears that the real mystery is only beginning. Here and there not the most important but the key role played by Kevin Spacey. However, what is really interesting, I know a lot of people who are happy reviewed this film the second and the third time, even though that seems to be the whole point in unexpected plot twists. I fully understand these people. The fact that the film “The Usual Suspects” is good by several things:
1. Cool and highly entangled plot (writer Christopher MacQuarrie has received five major awards for this film, one of the awards “Oscar”).
2. Directing (Bryan Singer also has received five awards for this film, however he did not get the “Oscar”).
3. Great acting, which the most striking is Kevin Spacey (“Oscar “ for the Best Actor plus seven similar awards in different countries).
In this film, almost all actors work very good. The plot is constructed the way that there is no main character in the movie. In some parts of the film you would think that Dean Keaton (Gabriel Byrne) is the main character, around which revolve all events in this film, but from time to time new characters appear in the story, who have disputed the Keaton’s palm. By the way, I liked Gabriel Byrne in this movie, even though usually I am not impressed of his roles.
Chazz Palminteri is very good in playing the investigator who questioned the entire film chatterbox. Some episodes which he played are just fine, especially in the beginning when he makes chatterbox talking( he already received immunity so he has no reason at all to answer the investigator’s questions).
But Kevin Spacey is certainly the main role in the film in terms of acting. Most of the people are reconsidering this picture over and over because of him. There are a lot of interesting episodes in the movie that I personally would like to watch again for deeply analyze them from a psychological point of view.
“The Usual Suspects” is a beautiful crime thriller, which is must see if you have not seen it before. One of the best, if not the best film of this genre.
