I don't know what it is with celebrities and grocery stores this week, but Ellen DeGeneres and Oprah recently voyaged to a Southern California-based supermarket, Gelson's, to go shopping.
And if I'm going to be perfectly honest with you, I enjoyed watching every second of their grocery store antics.
They came prepared. Ellen brought reusable bags, aka pieces of Louis Vuitton luggage.
They traveled to the produce section, where Ellen had Oprah take a classic "melon boobs" picture, because melon boobs are always funny.
Then, Ellen made the value of these peaches soar when she announced that they had been graced by Oprah's touch.
When they were done in the produce section, Ellen got on the PA system to ask for help finding the rest of the things on their list.
And while Oprah was stocking up on her new line of ready-to-eat foods...Ellen planted a liquor bottle in her purse.
Ellen also took the time to scare Oprah with basically every halloween decoration in the store.
Oh, and before they checked out, they grabbed copies of each other's magazines.
And finally, to end their magical shopping journey, they tried to checkout in true celebrity fashion: with bars of gold.
