Laredo: City With No Bookstore
Yes, there are much more tragic things that can happen to a city, especially lately as we read the grim news from Haiti.
Still, it's sad to learn that Laredo, Texas a city of 250 thousand had their last bookstore close January 16th. Thankfully the city has two libraries, but will not be able to keep up with current popular book demand.
