Atomic Liquors, Las Vegas's oldest bar is right on Fremont Street as well as many other worthy pubs. Check out the Commonwealth, Therapy, Oak and Ivy, The Griffin, and Velveteen Rabbit. You could easily walk to all of these, but if you want a guided tour with some history of the bars, consider a pub crawler tour on a giant bicycle.

You love trying new foods and restaurants when you travel. Lucky for you, Downtown Las Vegas is a foodie's dream. Locally owned restaurants are making deliciously crafted eats and killing it. Try Park on Fremont, Eat, Pizza Rock, Zydeco Po-Boys, Vegenation and The Perch. Seriously, there's too many awesome places to name. Just try them all.

Downtown Las Vegas is bursting with beautiful murals painted on nearly every building you see. The Arts District is an 18 block zone for art and culture. Check out the many art galleries and look ahead to see if there's an event happening during your visit. Want to see the classic neon lights from long ago? The Neon Museum collects and preserves Las Vegas history in their "Boneyard" where you can see retired neon signs and displays.   
If organized crime is more your thing, see the massive collection of stories and artifacts at the Mob Museum, including the St. Valentine's Massacre Brick Wall where you can still see the bullet holes from Al Capone's gang.

You want the glitz and glam of Vegas without all the walking and huge crowds of the Strip. Fremont Street has neon lights galore with their Viva Vision light show. See a free concert almost any night of the week. Take flight down the Slotzilla Zip Line. See street performers, dance, make music, or paint works of art. Watch the flair bartenders at the D and Golden Gate juggle bottles of liquor while they make you a cocktail, then stroll around and see the many shops, casinos, and culture of Las Vegas's original "Strip."

You care about supporting locally owned businesses. Luckily, there are tons of place to shop small in downtown! The Downtown Container Park is an open air shopping mall full of different boutique stores for food, clothing, decor, and more. There's even a hair salon and wedding chapel! Also, don't miss 11th Street Records, The Writer's Block book store and The Beat Coffeehouse and Records Store.

You love the classic Vegas experience. In downtown, you can gamble at the oldest casino in Las Vegas: The Golden Gate. Also play a hand at other historical casinos like the El Cortez, Fremont, and Golden Nugget. You can easily visit them all, as they're conveniently located right next to each other on Fremont Street.
