Frequent haircuts and tons of conditioner. I get a trim about every 2 1/2 months or so. If I miss two of them, my hair turns into a frizzy mess because the layers grow out.

It's similar to the green Tabasco. Both have a really great tangy jalapeño flavor.

Roasted brusselsprouts are great too. They get crispy and caramelized. I tend to just quick steam them in the microwave most of the time though. Just a couple minutes, so they're bright green and crisp inside still. Then throw on a little butter and garlic salt.

The best advice I read online was to pour a little water over guacamole if you need to store it overnight. It keeps the guacamole from browning by keeping air away. Then when you're ready to serve, just gently dump the water out.

arielles4e2446194 commented on 23 Condiments You Need In Your Life And Your Fridge

Do not use sesame oil to deep fry tempura. Sesame oil is primarily meant to flavor things, not fry in. It has a low smoking point. Use it in dipping sauces, salad dressings, or stir fries. But don't use it as the cooking oil if you are using medium or high heat. One of my favorite…

Also, do not try the avocado pit/knife thing at home. If you know how to do it safely, don't let me stop you. But I've personally never owned sharp enough knives to do it. Avocado pits are really hard and slippery! You're likely to hurt yourself if you do it. I almost cut myself when…

arielles4e2446194 commented on 33 Kitchen Tricks To Save You Time And Hassle

There are so many bad tips on here. If you want to clean out a bell pepper easily, without cutting yourself, cut off the top first. Pull the seeds out with you hands, then turn the pepper over on the flat side to cut in half. You want to keep it as flat as possible to avoid injury. Use…

arielles4e2446194 commented on How Did You Learn To Like Controversial Foods?

For seltzer water, I started drinking it with a tiny bit of lemon juice and sugar. So it was like a really light and refreshing bubbly lemonade. Then I found cherry-lime le croix, and started drinking it plain. Now I love carbonated water. It just needs to be very cold, and it tastes…

arielles4e2446194 commented on What's Your Best Two-Minute Noodle Hack?

Microwave the noodles like usual with some spinach. Then add either a fried or hardboiled egg, some sriracha and a tiny bit of sesame oil. Other veggies, like bean sprouts, and proteins, like sausage, go well with it too. And if you happen to be having spicy korean style ramen, add…
