A story about the life of African-American women in the southern United States in the 1930s, and the social injustices they endure, this show is both heartbreaking and inspiring. The women in this show are powerful, talented, and beyond incredible. Being in the audience for this is extraordinary, and you'll feel like you just went to church. Rock out! Based on the movie of the same name, this musical tells the story of a struggling rock singer and guitarist who trains a fourth-grade class for an upcoming Battle of the Bands.
