These applications tent to be heavy as the data drives the entire framework or game.
•Games – The hardest and most complex application to develop is a gaming application. A typical gaming app like for example Angry Birds cost around $125,000 to $180,000 to develop. Even if the plan is to keep the application simple, gaming applications get complicated quite quickly which escalates their costs.

•iPad – Assuming that they layout is similar and user flow is similar design for iPad would cost 50% more than the above cost. In many cases alternate functionality has to be created to accommodate for iPad size and speed which requires new designs.
