1. Your school employs about half the town's residents in some way or another.
2. Your town's population decreases by 80% when the campus closes for the summer.
3. You have to drive at least 30 minutes to get to any store you need to get to.
4. Everywhere you go, you see at least ten people who you know or at least slightly know.
5. You know all of the waiters and waitresses at every restaurant in town, and they're pretty much all locally owned.
6. After only a few months at college, you learned that there was actually not much to do in town.
7. The number of bars in town outnumbers the number of grocery stores.
8. There's always that one bar that everyone knows doesn't card (and the cops know about it, too).
9. You've had some seriously tiny classes, like 15 people or less.
10. Because classes are so small, professors know when you skip.
11. You barely consider the "mall" in your town to be an actual mall, because it only has four stores.
12. Good luck to you if you hook up with someone while drunk, because you will see them every day until you graduate.
13. You will know everything about everyone, and vice versa.
14. Because of the lack of stores in your town, online shopping becomes a way of life.
15. You live for the farmer's market every week.
16. No one knows where your school is located on a map.
17. You call the locals "townies."
18. There's always at least one townie that appears everywhere, and everyone knows them.
19. And your experience has been so unique, you wouldn't change it for anything.
