3. Angels Trumpet Ale House, Phoenix, Arizona

"Great selection of microbrews, and delicious, well-made bar food."

"Best presentation of beer flights I've ever had. Write down your six picks from the board on your paper, give to your server, and they'll return with the paper and the beers in a muffin tin! Awesome!"

"Great patio outside. Microbrews you won't find many places outside of Tempe, or anywhere else. Excellent job on the menu."

"A beer garden with bikers, a jukebox with local bands, and a back patio full of picnic tables. As recommended by Travel Channel host Anthony Bourdain."

"Home to what may be the Bay Area's best non-fast-food burger. Called the 'Gardenburger,' it's huge and juicy, and topped with freshness. There may also be homefries involved."

"Last time we sat out back at this biker bar, we played a game of poker with strangers. It was just another night at the picnic table-filled backyard at this Mission District stalwart."

6. Falling Rock Tap House, Denver, Colorado

"70 beers on tap, and they're constantly tapping rare and hard-to-find kegs. Make sure you check out the bottle list as well."

"Fried mushrooms are the best. Also one of the only places you can find Russian River or Lost Abbey on tap. A must-visit if you love craft brews."

"One of the best places to drink in the country, period."
