The Definitive Ranking Of Disneyland Snacks

Now, I know that this is a touchy subject. So touchy, in fact, that it could split up families, relationships, or maybe even set off the apocalypse. Everyone has their favorite Disney snacks that they're very protective of, but the cold, hard truth is that some are just better than others.

9. Popcorn

Disneyland has plenty of fair-like foods and popcorn has not been left by the wayside. Sure, it's easy to munch on some popcorn while navigating the crowds but it's just not unique enough to become a Disneyland staple in my mind. Also, trying to fish some kernel remnants out of my teeth while waiting in line isn't my ideal scenario. I give it a meh.

8. Big pickle

It's big. It's a pickle. It's a big pickle! There's not a ton to say about this dill flavored snack at the Magic Kingdom, it's just kinda there. Though I'm sure it's the perfect snack for brine deprived people everywhere, there's just something about a pickle in plastic bag that doesn't scream delicious to me.

7. Mickey shaped pretzel

If you're craving a salty snack, this is probably a good choice for you. However, compared to the other Disneyland treats, it is ultimately forgettable. I give it a thumbs up for being in the shape of a Mickey head though.

6. Turkey leg

Okay, now we're talking. Every time we go to Disneyland, my dad has to get the turkey leg. It is pretty much a national symbol of Disneyland but the slight greasiness paired with the fact that little shreds always get stuck in my teeth turn me off a bit from this beloved snack. It's good but not that good.

5. Mickey shaped ice cream bar

Another highly revered item, this cool and tasty treat is something to be treasured on a hot Disneyland day. However, there are many ice cream options at Disneyland that pack a lot more punch. I'm more of a soft serve kinda girl and although this ice cream bar does the job, it's not the best the park has to offer. I'm sure some of you will probably be ready to throw some punches over this but I can't help that the Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor on Main Street USA has shown me the light.

4. Candy apple

These things are both delicious and cute, which makes them a hard snack to beat. They have a lot going for them, but they're not the most user friendly snack for those of us that are constantly eating on the go at Disney so they didn't get into the top three.

3. Churro

Cinnamon and sugar, name a more iconic duo. I'll wait. They don't have a Mickey shape, but they're still bomb af and that's good enough for me.

2. Mickey beignets

These fluffy pillows of powdered sugared goodness was love at first bite. They taste scrumdiddlyumptious but their Mickey shape also makes them an adorable Disney snack. Since I have to get them every time we make a trip to Disney, they've earned one of the coveted top spots.

1. Dole whip

Are we really surprised that the iconic dole whip came in first place? There's nothing more satisfying than a creamy and cool Dole whip at Disneyland. Dole whip is like a gift from the soft serve gods, which is why it is number one in my heart.
