Suicide and suicidal thoughts and feelings are difficult to talk about and even more difficult to understand, especially if you don't have personal experience with it.
And when there's a high-profile suicide in the news and conversation about it spikes, it becomes clear that people still have a lot of misconceptions about suicide and suicidal ideation.
So if you have dealt with suicidal ideation in the past or currently do, we want to know what you wish people understood about it.
Maybe you want people to know that passing on numbers to suicide hotlines isn't always a very helpful response.
Or maybe you wish people were better educated about chronic or passive suicidal ideation, not just active suicide risk.
