If you had to drink some booze out of a dog bowl, on your hands and knees, lapping at it with your tongue, what would you want to drink?

You want a dog that literally takes up the whole bed. Great Dane, St. Bernard — the bigger the better. You want the floppy ears, the drooly mouth, that real dog's dog kinda stuff.

Corgis, dachshunds, whatever — if they've got those little short legs, you want them to be your best friend.

Short lil' stubby dogs

Shepherds, collies, you like 'em moving a mile a minute, and big enough to go for a long run but not too big to cuddle on the couch.

Mid-sized, energetic pups

You like expensive little dogs that are cute enough to have their own Instagram account.

Fancy little dogs

Retrievers, labs — you want a the type of dog you'd see on dog-food packaging. A dog that lives to fetch a stick. A dog that barks when people come to the door. A real, classic canine. You know what I mean?
