    It's a busy week to be Taylor Swift, y'all. She's been making headlines all week, from anticipation around the re-release of her third studio album, Speak Now (Taylor's Version), to rumors of a rekindled romance with Matty Healy of the 1975.

    Earlier this week, the Sun reported that Taylor and the controversial British musician had gotten back together following their alleged split a month ago. People, however, reported that not only are they not back together, but they're not talking at all. A source close to Taylor reportedly said, "She is enjoying being single and has been spending time in the studio and hanging out with friends in New York City."

    While Taylor has refrained from commenting on any of the breakup or dating rumors thus far regarding Matty or her ex Joe Alwyn, it looks like she's finally decided to give fans a bit of a hint as to what her love life and summer are looking like at the moment.

    Earlier this morning, Taylor shared some behind-the-scenes pictures from her annual 4th of July party at Holiday House (aka the house from "The Last Great American Dynasty"). Spotted alongside her longtime friends (including Selena Gomez and the Haim sisters), Taylor captioned the photos, "Happy belated Independence Day from your local neighborhood independent girlies 😎."

    The Haim sisters really drove the point home on their Instagram stories that these ~independent girlies~ are, in fact, single summer girls...

    The news of the squad's ✨single girl summer✨ also comes a day after speculation began circulating that Selena Gomez was dating The Bear star Jeremy Allen White. Despite the "news" going viral on Twitter, neither Selena nor Jeremy have confirmed the relationship. And if Taylor's and the Haim sisters' posts are any indication, it looks like the two of them may be nothing more than a rumor.
