I'm not sure if you know this, but Wendy's Spicy Nuggets are frickin' delicious.
Well, as a pick-me-up for all the people out there struggling with the pandemic, Wendy's is offering a free four-piece order of nuggets — spicy or regular — to anyone who goes through the drive-thru tomorrow (Friday, April 24) at participating locations.

According to the company's press release, there's no purchase necessary. So you don't have to buy anything off their menu to get your free nuggs (though how you can resist buying a Frosty when you're already at the drive-thru, I'm not sure).
The promotion is meant to call attention to those who are helping us all through the COVID-19 pandemic, including "parents moonlighting as teachers, truck drivers, grocery workers, nurses and more." But don't worry, Wendy's is still being appropriately snarky in the replies when it's called for.

Of course there's some risk even going through a drive-thru right now, so be sure to wear a mask if you can, limit contact with others, keep your distance by staying in your car, and wash your hands before digging into those nuggets!
