It's That Time Of Year Again, So Here's Another "Home Alone" Detail You Missed

This has nothing to do with thrown out airplane tickets. We promise.

Who can forget Home Alone, the timeless holiday classic? I'm guessing you can't, since you're here reading this right now.

Unless you've been living under a rock, you probably already know about Kevin's airplane ticket, which accidentally gets thrown out at the beginning of the movie.

Well guess what? This isn't about that. This is about something else!

At the verryyyy beginning, during the chaotic nightmare that is the McCallister family preparing to go on vacation, Kevin is told to pack his suitcase.

Kevin replies by saying he doesn't know how to pack a suitcase...

...and he's ultimately told that his mom will pack it for him.

And that's the last we hear about packing and suitcases. After this, everything is set in motion and Kevin gets left...

    HOME ALONE.

    Flash forward to this scene.

Kevin just got out of the shower and is commenting on how clean he is before he casually mentions that he can't find his toothbrush.

And so he goes out and buys one — well, technically, he accidentally shoplifts one and gets chased by a cop.

By now you've probably guessed it — HIS MOM PACKED HIS TOOTHBRUSH. This is true, but there's more to this tale.

After stealing the toothbrush, Kevin's feeling pretty low, and he's walking home alone with his head down.

And that's when he almost gets hit by this van. Oh and who's driving this van?

NONE OTHER THAN THE WET BANDITS.

So basically the entire movie happens because Kevin's mom remembers to pack Kevin's toothbrush but forgets to pack Kevin.

    That's all. Happy holidays!
