On September 7, Alay Anil Dave filed a Public-Interest Litigation (PIL) in the Gujarat High Court, against the developers of Pokemon Go, claiming that it is hurting religious sentiments by showing eggs at a place of worship.
Dave stated that since eggs are considered non-vegetarian food, they should not be present near or inside places of worship for Hindus and Jains.
Since the case seems to be one of the most ridiculous things ever, Indian Twitter hasn't let up on the entire issue.
