In November 2015, Pande started a page called "Veterans of India" – "Humans Of New York" inspired Facebook page that profiles men and women who have served their country.

“I grew up in an army household. My dad used to tell me these amazing stories, and one day it hit me that almost all kids in the world love to hear army stories,” Pande told BuzzFeed.

"I have my camera with me most of the time so whenever I come across anyone in the defence or wanting to share a story about it, I started talking to them."

“I’ve personally met over 200 people,” Pande added. “A lot of people send us messages with their stories."

Pande told BuzzFeed that response to the page has been great, adding “from youngsters to senior people, they love it”.
