Nachiket Pande, a Delhi-based student, is currently finishing his final year at VIT University, Vellore.
In November 2015, Pande started a page called "Veterans of India" – "Humans Of New York" inspired Facebook page that profiles men and women who have served their country.
“I grew up in an army household. My dad used to tell me these amazing stories, and one day it hit me that almost all kids in the world love to hear army stories,” Pande told BuzzFeed.
"I have my camera with me most of the time so whenever I come across anyone in the defence or wanting to share a story about it, I started talking to them."
