Thousands Of People Are Sharing This Facebook Post About Two Doctors Saving A Man's Life

    As people took pictures and videos, the doctors waded through the crowd, and figured out how to open up the man’s airway – with no instruments.

    On January 11, India's Doctors shared a post about two doctors saving the life of a man, on their Facebook page.

    The post describes an incident that happened in Secunderabad, Andhra Pradesh, in which two interns Dr. Faizah Anjum and Dr. Savitri Devi happened upon a road accident.

    While at the scene, they came across a person with no pulse, and was presumed dead. As people took pictures and videos, the doctors waded through the crowd, and figured out how to open up the man’s airway – with no instruments.

    Their attempts resulted in the patient's heart beating again, and he was then rushed to the hospital. Since being uploaded, the post has been shared over 25,000 times on Facebook.

    BuzzFeed has reached out to Apollo Hospital, Secunderabad, for a comment, and is awaiting a reply.
