Sorry Guys, HBO Just Confirmed That Neil Nitin Mukesh Isn't Going To Be In "Game Of Thrones"

You actually have to be allowed to play the Game of Thrones, to win or die.

Last week, the Indian Internet went into a frenzy when actor Neil Nitin Mukesh announced that he was offered a role in the sixth season of Game Of Thrones.

Mukesh said that while filming action sequences for an upcoming movie, global stunt director Greg Powell was impressed with his work and offered him a role on the HBO fantasy drama.

After the news started gaining traction online, Mukesh began trending, across India, on Twitter and Facebook. He later stated to dna, "Nothing is confirmed so far. All I can do is keep my fingers crossed. Though Game of Thrones is one of my favourite series."

But, according to Watchers on the Wall, one of the most trusted resources for all things GoT, HBO has confirmed that they have not cast Mukesh in any capacity.

In fact, the site goes on to state that he was never offered a role in the first place.
