Malala Burst Into Tears Upon Seeing Her Bloodied School Uniform, And Kailash Satyarthi Consoled Her

The uniform she was wearing when she was shot by the Taliban two years ago has reportedly never been displayed publicly before.

Malala Yousafzai was witnessed bursting into tears on Thursday after seeing the bloodied school uniform she wore the day she was attacked by the Taliban.

According to Dawn, Satyarthi rushed to console her, repeating, “You are so brave, you are so brave.”

Here are the two of them together at the Nobel Peace Prize concert in Oslo that night.

On the previous day, at the ceremony where they were awarded their Nobel Peace Prize, Satyarthi said meeting Malala was the "best thing" to happen to him that day:

Satyarthi has freed 80,000 children from captivity. Yousafzai has gathered 3 million signatures on a petition to the UN for it to include universalised children's education as a millennium goal. They are from India and Pakistan respectively.
