    The Emotional Rollercoaster That Is Moving Out Of Home

    You're in a share house of emotion.

    You decide it’s time to move out, you’re a little nervous, but it feels right.

    It might be time for you to embrace the responsibilities that come with so called "adulthood" that you've been avoiding for so long.

    This is the life defining step that will make your life into something.

    You grab a bunch of friends.

    Or some randoms off gumtree/craigslist.

    In your dreams, you’re lucky enough to get this:

    But it's more likely you'll get this:

    But it's all good, because you are FREE.

    You can do whatever you want.

    You can eat whatever you want.

    You can stay up as late as you want!

    But then the exhaustion starts to hit.

    That sleep debt your parents would go on and on about? Actually a thing.

    Oh, and dishes need to be done.

    And you have to do your own washing.

    Generally getting yourself up and out the door does not come easily to you.

    So you sleep. A lot.

    The washing and the dishes pile up.

    You start to question your ability to function as an adult.

    But then, one night, you have a house party.

    And you remember why living out of home is great.
