I Watched The "Love Is Blind" Reunion And It Was Too Much To Handle

We finally made it to the end!

Oh boy! It's been quite a wild journey following the couples from Love Is Blind.

Somehow, a show about people choosing their spouse by talking to each other through a wall created two successful marriages, which is far more than I thought there'd be.

At this point, fans have a good idea of what's happened in the 18 months since the show ended. But we've finally gotten to the reunion, where couples and former couples were forced to all be in the same room and rehash their drama. Let's get started!

Nick Lachey has made "obviously, I'm Nick Lachey" his new reality show catchphrase, and at this point he deserves it.

The Lacheys are getting right to it.

That's Kelly, Jessica, Mark, Carlton, and Diamond. That means Kenny is off the market! Good for him!

At this point, we already know Giannina and Damian are back together, but we're about to get official confirmation. Vanessa's asking those who are in a relationship with their fiancé to raise their hands.

They look adorable together! I love this for them, even though their wedding was so cringey to watch.

    Same, girl. Same!

Like me, Vanessa couldn't wait to figure out what happened between Kenny and Kelly.

Kelly's single, but she dropped a big bombshell about her dating life.

    Kenny's subtle reaction is everything.

That was tough to hear. But Kenny would like everyone to know that he couldn't be doing better 💅.

    Kenny's got a girlfriend, a dog, and a job. He's thriving!

Moving on to Amber and Barnett!

    THE SHADE!!!

    At least Jessica is self-aware.

Amber did not try to hide that she isn't Jessica's biggest fan.

In case you were wondering, Carlton still refers to himself in third person.

We also get to hear from Diamond, whose time on the show was pretty damn rough.

At this point, there's not much we don't know about Lauren and Cameron's marriage. Here's a reminder they're super happy together.

Mark said the show was worth it for him, which I wouldn't have thought after watching the disastrous wedding. But hey, whatever works! His DMs are probably poppin' right now.

In case you were wondering, Barnett and Diamond were never going to happen.

Carlton finally apologized for falling asleep on Amber in the pods.

Barnett reminded us that he "dated" nearly every woman on the show.

Uh-oh. We're going to have to relive the Barnett mess.

Amber and Barnett look so thrilled.

Amber's definitely thinking "make it stop."

I think the issue is that Barnett is *too good* with girls, but okay, sure.

Nick brings up that Amber, Jessica, and LC all felt secure in their relationship with Barnett and thought he was the one.

Vanessa didn't have to call out Barnett like that! He's trying his hardest to keep it together. He's in a room with his wife and the woman he almost proposed to. I would want to be elsewhere, too.

Alright, Vanessa's going for it. It's time to bring out the popcorn. Things are about to get entertaining.

    ☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️.

To be fair, Jessica knew what she was doing when she told Amber that Barnett wanted to marry her.

Then this moment from the reunion trailer happened:

Watch the first clip from Thursday's Love Is Blind Reunion as Amber tells Jessica what she really thought about those conversations with Barnett

Barnett could not be more uncomfortable.

Jessica's not fighting back. She's actually agreeing with Amber. Gotta give her props for handling this maturely.

Amber's reaction when Vanessa asked if she accepts the apology says it all.

Moving on! It's time to find out who everyone thought was hot. For the record, everyone in the room is attractive, so the answers shouldn't be too surprising.

Kenny says Lauren, who is absolutely gorgeous, so I agree.

    Damian says Lauren, too!

There's so much to process here!

Thankfully, Vanessa asked for a demonstration.

Okay, so their Yoda voices sound more like a maimed Fozzie Bear than Yoda, but I appreciate this so much.

Diamond thought Mark was hot, and it probably would've gone so much better for them to link up, rather than with the people they chose.

    I ship Diamond and Mark!

Now it's time to talk about Diamond and Carlton.

I'll be honest — I've been so caught up on Jessica's drama that I had completely forgotten about the whole Diamond-Carlton situation until the reunion. But it turns out there are fans who still feel strongly about their cringey breakup.

Carlton got death threats! That's so fucked up! He didn't make the best decisions, but in no way whatsoever did he deserve death threats. *Nobody* deserves death threats.

Diamond, too! What is wrong with people?!

Carlton also cleared up that he never thought Diamond was biphobic.

Carlton and Diamond have been super peaceful and respectful toward each other during the reunion. Turns out they hashed out their issues before the show aired and are now on good terms.

    IS HE GOING TO PROPOSE?!

Everyone's like "What is going on?!"

Phewf! Carlton almost gave me a heart attack!

This is the most extra apology ever.

CARLTON WENT BACK IN THE POOL TO GET THE RING WHATTTTTT?!

Back to Giannina and Damian! Giannina says she knew Damian was her soulmate from the beginning of the pod days. So why did the wedding turn into such a disaster?

Giannina now feels differently from how she felt when Damian said "I do not."

Giannina and Damian had to watch the clip of their fight at the wedding, and it made Damian tear up.

Damian hinted that he and Giannina had planned to have a relationship without marriage and Giannina saying "I do" blindsided him.

This turned into an apology session, with Giannina and Damian crying looking back at that painful moment.

Speaking of painful moments, now we're going back to Kenny and Kelly.

As we reported earlier this week, Kenny and Kelly had decided to not get married long before the wedding.

As for Amber and Barnett, they seem like such a happy couple. But they revealed that marriage hasn't been easy for them. Amber's financial issues put a strain on the relationship.

Their issues got to a point where Amber thought their marriage wouldn't work out.

We're finally approaching the end of the reunion, and it's time to put Mark in the hot seat and have him talk about Jessica. This won't be awkward at all...

    Jessica's response...wasn't great.

    Amber's definitely not amused.

Mark finally gets his apology! Now we can move on from this mess — or, at least, I hope so.

This is perhaps the most shocking fact about Mark and Jessica's relationship. She made that Italian beef sound SO GOOD. Damn, Jessica!

Now it's time to check in on Lauren and Cameron. Their process has been very drama-free and sweet, though a tiny bit boring.

I'm so glad Lauren called this out, because it was getting annoying to have their interracial relationship made out to be such a big deal.

They also have a puppy! His name is Sparks!

Turns out it took some convincing for Cameron to get a dog.

At least he changed his mind!

Okay, so now that they have a fur baby, what about human babies?

    Damian is 100% right.

I could write a 1,000-word essay analyzing everyone's facial expressions at the end of the reunion, but we've been through enough, so I won't.

So is love blind? Who knows! But at least we had a great, messy distraction from our lives for a bit. Now we'll have to see if the (possible) next season will top this.
