Tell Us A First Dance Wedding Song That You Wish People Would Stop Using

Oh, this song again?

Everyone, married or not, knows that the first dance is one of the most memorable moments from the whole wedding. So, choosing a song for such a memorable dance can be stressful.

And unfortunately, some might choose a song that you reallllyyyy wish to not hear again for an array of reasons.

Like "Stay With Me" by Sam Smith and its not-so-romantic lyrics.

Country love songs like "Marry Me" by Thomas Rhett aren't always swoonworthy for a first dance as well.

Even classics like "I Will Always Love You" by Dolly Parton might not make the best first dance song either.

And I'm sure that everyone can think of a generic love song that can be tiring to hear at weddings when it's just simply overused, like "A Thousand Years" by Christina Perri.

Especially when it's one of the numerous overplayed hits of Ed Sheeran — usually "Perfect."

Do you have a certain popular first dance wedding song that really doesn't deserve the hype, from being overused or just downright ill-fitting? Let us know what song it is and which lyric stands out in particular below.
